Sourdough French Toast Bites

This french toast is cooked in coconut oil to the perfect crispiness and coated in a delicious cinnamon sugar mixture. This recipe is perfect for using up any leftover or stale sourdough!

What you need
egg

tbsp almond milk

tsp vanilla extract

salt

tbsp coconut sugar

tsp cinnamon

tbsp coconut oil

maple syrup
Instructions
1 Cut sourdough slice into cubes. 2 In a low bowl, whisk together eggs, almond milk, vanilla extract and sea salt. 3 In another low bowl, mix together coconut sugar and cinnamon. 4 Preheat pan to low-medium heat with 2 tbsp coconut oil. 5 Add sourdough cubes into egg mixture, toss to coat, then place all into pan to cook. 6 Move around with spatula and cook until crispy golden brown on all sides. 7 Remove all cubes and place into cinnamon sugar mixture.
