Instructions
1 Make the Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the white miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, and beef broth (or water) until smooth and well combined. 2 Add to Instant Pot: Place the short ribs into the Instant Pot. Pour the sauce over the ribs, making sure they’re mostly submerged. Add the garlic and ginger slices. 3 Pressure Cook: Seal the lid and set the Instant Pot to High Pressure for 35–40 minutes. Allow it to naturally release pressure when finished. 4 Optional – Reduce Sauce: For a thicker sauce, turn on sauté mode after cooking and let the sauce simmer for 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally until slightly reduced. 5 Serve: Serve hot over steamed white rice and garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds.View original recipe
