What you need

yellow onion

cup carrot

yellow squash

fresh spinach

lb ground turkey

cooked rice

sesame seed

cup low-sodium soy sauce

cup water

tbsp rice vinegar

tbsp brown sugar

tbsp honey

tsp granulated garlic

tsp ground ginger
tbsp cornstarch
tbsp warm water
Instructions
1 Make the sauce: Mix soy sauce, water, rice vinegar, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger in a small bowl. In another bowl, stir cornstarch with warm water to create a slurry. Set both aside. 2 Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and carrots to sauté until slightly softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add in yellow squash to cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove veggies from the pan and add more oil. Add in ground turkey and cook until browned and fully cooked. 3 Add veggies back into pan with ground turkey. 4 Pour the teriyaki sauce and slurry into the skillet. Stir constantly until the sauce thickens and coats the turkey and veggies. 5 Plate with rice or noodles and top with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.View original recipe
