Beef Pepper Rice (Pepper Lunch)

This meal is simply sliced beef, onions, rice and a savory sauce tossed in. Pepper lunch originated in Japan. It's typically served on a sizzling hot plate which gives the meat a sizzle and extra browning.

What you need

onion

clove garlic

cup corn kernel

minute rice

butter

green onion

tbsp light soy sauce

tbsp oyster sauce

tbsp honey

tbsp sesame oil

tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
0 Preheat pan to medium heat with oil. Add in onion to cook until translucent, then add in garlic. 1 Push onions to the side, then add more oil to pan to cook beef until nicely browned. Spread beef and onions evenly on pan, then add rice in the center. 2 Sprinkle fresh corn on top + green onions. If desired, add 1 tablespoons butter on top of rice. 3 Mix everything together and serve warm!View original recipe
